Rough Country 51530 is a 4-inch lift kit for the 1983-1997 Ford Ranger 2WD, built around lifted front coil springs, drop brackets, a power steering pitman arm, 3-inch rear blocks with U-bolts, and two N3 shock pairs. It does not fit trucks with manual steering, and it does not fit 87-88 trucks with the High Rider STX package.

This 4-inch lift kit for the 1983-1997 Ford Ranger 2WD raises the front to sit level with the rear and opens up ground clearance for larger tires. The front side uses lifted coil springs with radius arm and I-beam drop brackets plus a power steering pitman arm, so caster can be set back where the factory steering feel expects it; the rear runs 3-inch blocks, U-bolts, and hardware. Two N3 shock pairs are part of the kit. Trucks with a front sway bar should also plan on drop brackets. Rough Country lists 6-8 hours for the install.
