Rough Country 90222 is a 4-inch lift kit for 1993–1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Cherokee 4WD models, built around long control arms, front and rear lifted coil springs, and an N3 shock package. It does not fit AWD models, and the included transfer case skid plate will not clear a 249 transfer case. Plan on cutting and rerouting the exhaust away from moving suspension parts.
This 4-inch lift kit for the 1993–1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4WD (Base through 5.9 Limited, plus listed Cherokee applications) ships with lifted front and rear coils, adjustable upper and lower control arms, long-arm frame brackets, a forged adjustable front track bar, a 0.25-inch-thick heavy-duty crossmember, sway-bar quick disconnects, bumpstop and brake line brackets, and hardware. The X-Flex joints use a 2.5-inch body with 1.25-inch thread and are greasable; uppers pivot to 20 degrees, lowers to 35 degrees. Rough Country lists 8-9 hours for installation, and a downloadable installation guide is available. Vehicles with a CV-style front driveshaft may show vibration afterward.
