Forged solid steel at 1.25in outside diameter, it re-centers the front axle under the body after a lift and adjusts while still bolted to the Jeep. A drop pitman arm is required.
Fitment spans the 4WD Jeep Cherokee from 1984-2001, the Comanche from 1986-1992, and the Grand Cherokee from 1993-1998, provided the vehicle runs a 4-6.5in lift. Lifting a Jeep pulls the axle sideways relative to the frame; this bar brings it back under center, and because it adjusts in place you can set it without dropping the bar out. The body is forged solid steel at 1.25in outside diameter, with OEM-style rubber bushings at the ends. A drop pitman arm is required. Rough Country lists the job at 1-2 hours.
