About this part
Dual Steering Stabilizer, fitment-checked
Rough Country 87308 is a dual steering stabilizer for the 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee, 1986-1992 Comanche, and 1997-2006 Wrangler. It fits only vehicles already running 2.5 to 6.5 inches of suspension lift with the factory steering setup in place, and it uses a chrome hardened 18mm piston rod. Minor drilling is part of the install.
This dual steering stabilizer for the 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee, 1986-1992 Comanche, and 1997-2006 Wrangler bolts to the tie rod to settle steering feedback and cut down on bump steer over rough ground, which also eases wear on tie rod ends and ball joints. Fitment is conditional: the vehicle needs 2.5 to 6.5 inches of suspension lift and an unmodified factory steering setup. Plan on minor drilling during the bolt-on install, listed at 1-2 hours. Check your lift height and steering components against the fitment list, then work from the downloadable Rough Country installation guide.
