These N3 rear shocks cover 1999–2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, Limited, Overland, Special Edition, and Sport applications plus the 1999–2001 Cherokee Limited RWD, and they suit only rigs with 0–2.5 inches of suspension lift. Each shock in the pair runs 10-stage variable valving, a 35mm piston, a chromed and hardened 18mm rod, and a 54mm body sized to shed heat, with high-pressure nitrogen charging to hold damping steady. Fluid is rated to -40 degrees Celsius, and rubber bushings handle vibration at the mounts. Rough Country lists installation at 1-2 hours.
