Fitting a taller spare to a JK usually means the tailgate carrier no longer sits where it should. This relocation kit moves the mounting point to suit tires from 33 in. to 37 in. in diameter on wheels with 4 in. to 5.5 in. of backspacing, on the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler JK.
Go up in tire size on a JK and the spare becomes the problem: the factory carrier position was set for a smaller wheel and tire package, and a 37 sits proud of where the tailgate expects it. The STRJK212 relocates the mount to take tires from 33 in. to 37 in. in diameter, on wheels carrying 4 in. to 5.5 in. of backspacing. Application is the 2007-2017 Wrangler and the 2018 Wrangler JK across Sport, Sahara, Rubicon and the Unlimited trims.
