A bolt-on steel brace for the swing-out tailgate on 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler models, including the 2018 Wrangler JK. It splits the weight of a heavier spare across both hinges so the tailgate carries larger aftermarket tire-and-wheel combinations without the same strain. Hanging a bigger spare on a Wrangler puts the load on two hinges that were sized for the factory tire. This black powder-coated solid-steel reinforcement ties into both of them and distributes that weight, which is what lets an aftermarket tire-and-wheel setup ride on the swing-out gate.
