A bolt-on steel reinforcement for the swing-out tailgate on 2021–2026 Ford Bronco models. It ties both hinges together so the gate carries a heavier aftermarket tire and wheel without the same strain. Paired with the 51053 spare tire relocation bracket, it will handle up to a 37" tire. Works with the factory carrier and Rough Country spare tire carriers.
A stock Bronco tailgate was never asked to hold a 37" tire. This solid-steel brace bolts across the swing-out gate and spreads that load evenly between the two hinges, which is what makes an oversized spare practical on the factory carrier — or on a Rough Country one. Reaching the full 37" capacity takes the 51053 spare tire relocation bracket alongside it. Fitment covers 2021–2026 Ford Bronco 4WD from Base and Big Bend up through Badlands, Everglades, Wildtrak, and the Heritage and Stroppe editions.
