Rough Country 51003 is a traction bar kit for 2008–2016 Ford F-250 and F-250 Super Duty 4WD trucks already running 4.5 to 6 inches of lift. Rubber-bushed bars with a threaded adjustable end hold the rear axle against wrap and hop while leaving suspension travel free. Mounting hardware comes with the kit, and installation calls for drilling.
The 51003 traction bar kit suits F-250 and F-250 Super Duty 4WD trucks from XL through Platinum, King Ranch, Harley-Davidson Edition, and Cabela's trims listed in the fitment section. Two requirements decide fit before anything else: the truck must carry 4.5 to 6 inches of suspension lift, and its rear u-bolts must be inverted. Installed from beneath the axle tube. Long-wheelbase trucks are outside the fitment. Plan on drilling during the install, and pull the downloadable Rough Country installation guide before you start.
