Cutting and drilling are required, and factory wheels will not work — plan on 20-inch or larger aftermarket wheels with 4.5 in backspacing.
Rough Country builds this 6-inch kit for the 2025–2026 Silverado 1500 4WD, and the damping comes from M1 hardware: a loaded M1 strut pair up front and an M1 monotube shock pair at the rear. A full front skid plate and a high-clearance crossmember protect and locate the front end, while cast knuckles and fabricated rear blocks carry the height at stock track width. Trail Boss and ZR2 trucks are excluded. Cutting and drilling are required, factory wheels will not clear, and aftermarket wheels must be 20 inches or larger with 4.5 in backspacing.
