Yukon lift kits: what a small lift actually buys you
Most Yukon owners are not chasing articulation. They want the gap over the tire closed and a slightly larger wheel and tire package to sit right, and a small lift kit or a leveling kit does that without asking anything of the drivetrain. Worth being clear about before shopping, because the parts that deliver a modest lift and the parts that deliver a serious one are not the same parts.
Two things narrow the choice. Vehicles with air-assisted rear suspension or adaptive damping are excluded by a number of kits, and a Denali on larger factory wheels has less room to give before the tire meets the liner. Shocks, and on the taller kits upper control arms, are what keep the geometry honest afterwards. Every kit here names the years and drivetrains it covers and prints the manufacturer's exclusions.
