Rough Country 28040 is a 6-inch lift kit for the 2000-2006 Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon, with fitment also covering Yukon XL 1500 and 2500 and 2002-2006 Cadillac Escalade applications. Front N3 series shocks are valved for this application, and the box also carries an M1 monotube shock pair, front knuckles, a crossmember kit, and rear springs. It does not fit Auto Ride or Auto Leveling models.
This 6-inch lift kit for the 2000-2006 Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon keeps the torsion bars in their factory location and leaves axle position and angle alone, so no drivetrain or exhaust changes are part of the job. Frame bracket modification is required, and a torsion bar unloading tool is needed to complete the install.
