Rough Country 28020 is a 6-inch lift kit for the 2000-2006 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon, and Yukon XL 1500/2500, plus Cadillac Escalade applications from 2002-2006. Front-valved N3 series shocks are part of the package, and the torsion bars stay in their factory location. It does not fit Auto Ride or Auto Leveling models, and frame bracket modification is part of the job.
This 6-inch lift kit for the 2000-2006 Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon also covers Yukon XL 1500 and 2500 in 4WD and RWD, along with Escalade, Escalade ESV, and Escalade EXT applications listed in the fitment section. Axles and torsion bars stay at factory position, and no exhaust or drivetrain modification is called for. Plan on frame bracket modification and a torsion bar unloading tool (SKU 1067); AWD trucks need replacement driveshaft SKU 5083.1. Auto Ride and Auto Leveling trucks are excluded.
