Three Ram applications share this arm: 2000–2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD, plus 2000–2002 Dodge Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 4WD. All of them need a suspension lift kit in the 3in to 5in range for the steering geometry to work out.
Covering the 2000–2001 Dodge Ram 1500 and the 2000–2002 Dodge Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 in 4WD, this pitman arm restores draglink angle on trucks lifted 3in to 5in. Getting that linkage back near its designed position is what protects the full turning radius and holds down the steering vibration a lifted truck can develop. Note the different year ranges between the 1500 and the 2500 and 3500 applications before ordering, since they do not line up. Expect about 2-3 hours of work, with a downloadable Rough Country installation guide available. Shipping weight: 7.0 lb.
