Rough Country 25830 is a 4-inch lift kit for 1999-2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD trucks, including 1500 HD and Classic applications. The kit ships as an N3 rear shock box, a main kit box, a crossmember kit box, and driver and passenger knuckles. It does not fit 1999 old body style trucks.
This 4-inch lift kit for the 1999-2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD keeps the torsion bars in their factory mounting location and reuses the OEM compression travel stops, so axle angles stay close to stock. Installation calls for frame bracket work and differential modification, and trucks with factory-painted bumpers need the valance and bumper trimmed. Trucks running factory 17-inch wheels must move to 17-inch or larger if new wheels are being fitted. A torsion bar removal tool, part 1067, makes the job easier.
