The kit pairs 4.5in front coils with a pair of 4in rear leaf springs, a long-arm control arm package, a forged adjustable track bar rated for 4-6.5 inch lift, and an N3 shock set. It does not fit 2.8L V-6 or diesel engines, AX5 transmissions, or 87-89 Peugeot manual transmissions.
This 4.5-inch lift kit for the 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4WD covers Base through Limited trims, including Briarwood, Chief, Classic, Country, Laredo, Pioneer, SE, and Sport, and only applies to Jeeps equipped with the NP242 transfer case. Check the engine and transmission exclusions before ordering. The long-arm geometry uses X-Flex control arms with greasable flex joints; upper joints pivot up to 20 degrees and lower joints up to 35 degrees. Running 33 inch tires calls for fender trimming.
