Rough Country 36040 is a 5-inch lift kit for 2019–2024 Ram 2500 4WD diesel trucks, built around forged-style driver and passenger radius arms and two pairs of M1 monotube shocks. Diesel models only — it does not fit Power Wagon or air-ride trucks. Plan on minor cutting and on pulling the transfer case to install the supplied clocking ring.
This 5-inch lift kit for the 2019–2024 Ram 2500 4WD covers diesel trims from Tradesman and Big Horn through Laramie Longhorn, Limited, Rebel, and Special Service. The kit pairs replacement radius arms with a track bar bracket that keeps the front axle centered, and application-valved M1 monotube shocks handle damping on and off pavement. The transfer case has to come out so the clocking ring can go in and correct front driveline geometry, and minor cutting is part of the job. Mega Cab trucks with a two-piece driveshaft and carrier bearing may show take-off vibration. A downloadable installation guide is available.
