Fits Unlimited models ONLY. A Slip Yoke Eliminator with CV Driveshaft is recommended to avoid driveline vibration. Rubicon models do not need a SYE kit or transfer case drop but a CV driveshaft is still recommended. Exhaust will have to be cut and rerouted to make sure it is away from the moving components. Rough Country 63122 is a 6-inch lift kit for the 2004-2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and Unlimited Rubicon in 4WD. It pairs high-flex coil springs with N3 shocks, long arm control arms, and forged front and rear adjustable track bars. Unlimited models only. The exhaust has to be cut and rerouted away from moving suspension parts.
This 6-inch lift kit for the 2004-2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4WD covers both Unlimited and Unlimited Rubicon, and it fits Unlimited bodies only. Front and rear boxes carry lifted high-flex coils, adjustable upper and lower control arms, bumpstop extensions, stainless braided brake lines, sway-bar quick disconnects, extended rear sway-bar links, a pitman arm, a track bar drop bracket, and hardware. Rough Country lists the job at 8-9 hours, and the exhaust must be cut and rerouted clear of the suspension. A slip yoke eliminator with CV driveshaft is recommended; Rubicon models still benefit from the CV driveshaft. A downloadable installation guide is available.
