A Slip Yoke Eliminator with CV Driveshaft is recommended to avoid driveline vibration. Rubicon models do not need a SYE kit or transfer case drop but a CV driveshaft is still recommended. Exhaust will have to be cut and rerouted to make sure it is away from the moving components. Fitment on this page is based on the manufacturer’s application data.

This 6-inch lift kit for the 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4WD covers SE, Sport, X, Sahara, Rubicon, and 65th Anniversary Edition trims listed in the fitment section. The long-arm design pairs high-clearance lower control arms with flex joints on a 2.5 in body and 1.25 in thread, pivoting up to 20 degrees at the upper arms and 35 degrees at the lower arms. Rough Country calls for exhaust cutting and rerouting, and recommends a CV driveshaft; a slip yoke eliminator is also advised except on Rubicon models. A downloadable installation guide is available.
