2012-2018 models require exhaust modifications to clear the front driveshaft SKU: 1030. On Automatic equipped vehicles due to use of an oversize driveshaft from the factory and inadequate factory clearance it may be possible for the front driveshaft to come in contact with the automatic transmission pan tearing the factory boot and rubbing on the shaft. Generally this occurs during heavy articulation when front sway bar links are disconnected and longer shocks are installed. If this is found to occur the proper procedure would be to replace the oversize factory shaft with an aftermarket smaller diameter shaft to increase clearance between the transmission and front driveshaft. Rough Country does offer this driveshaft if needed. Fitment on this page is based on the manufacturer’s application data.

This 4-inch lift kit for the 2007–2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited covers Sport, Sport S, X, Sahara, Rubicon, and the 70th and 75th Anniversary trims listed in the fitment section. The M1R monotube reservoir shocks pair with X-Flex control arms using a 2.5 in body and 1.25 in threads, rebuildable greasable joints, plus correction plates that reset rear coil angle by 10 degrees. Four-door only. On 2012-2018 Jeeps, exhaust modification is needed for front driveshaft clearance, and automatic-equipped Jeeps may see factory driveshaft-to-pan contact under heavy articulation.
