Lifting a JK Wrangler steepens the driveline angle at the transfer case, and a double-cardan shaft is what takes the resulting vibration back out. Rough Country sizes this one at 22.875 in collapsed and 26.375 in extended, with Brute Force red seals over upgraded cardan joints and a shaft rated at twice the strength of the factory unit. The grease fittings sit clear of the transmission pan, so servicing them is not a mess. Expect 2 to 3 hours of driveway time, and confirm your build against the fitment table — four-door Unlimited models are not covered.
