2012-2018 models require exhaust modifications to clear the front driveshaft SKU: 1030. On Automatic equipped vehicles due to use of an oversize driveshaft from the factory and inadequate factory clearance it may be possible for the front driveshaft to come in contact with the automatic transmission pan tearing the factory boot and rubbing on the shaft. Generally this occurs during heavy articulation when front sway bar links are disconnected and longer shocks are installed. If this is found to occur the proper procedure would be to replace the oversize factory shaft with an aftermarket smaller diameter shaft to increase clearance between the transmission and front driveshaft. Rough Country does offer this driveshaft if needed. Fitment on this page is based on the manufacturer’s application data.

Rough Country 69430 is a 3.5-inch lift kit for four-door 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited models, including Sport, Sport S, X, Sahara, Rubicon, and the 70th and 75th Anniversary trims. It ships as two boxes: the Unlimited kit box and the 3.5-inch kit box. It does not fit 2-door Wranglers.
This 3.5-inch lift kit for the 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited bolts on without cutting and uses control arm drop brackets to keep front suspension geometry closer to factory alignment. Rear coil correction plates reset the coil spring angle by 10 degrees, and the coil springs are matched to the factory spring rate. Two-door Wranglers are excluded. On 2012-2018 Jeeps, exhaust modification is needed for front driveshaft clearance, and automatic-equipped Jeeps with the oversize factory shaft may need the smaller-diameter replacement shaft (part 1030) when running disconnected sway bar links.
