Rough Country 647 is a 3.75-inch lift kit for 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4WD, built by pairing a 2.5-inch suspension lift for 6-cylinder models with a 1.25-inch body lift. It does not fit 4-cylinder engines, and 2005-2006 models with the 6-speed manual transmission are excluded because of shifter differences.
This 3.75-inch lift kit for the 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4WD stacks two Rough Country kits: a 2.5-inch suspension lift for 6-cylinder Wranglers and a 1.25-inch body lift that uses fiberglass-reinforced nylon pucks. Covered submodels include SE, Sport, X, Sahara, Rubicon, Unlimited, Unlimited Rubicon, and the 65th Anniversary Edition. It bolts on without cutting or welding. Running larger-than-stock tires on factory wheels can bring the tire into contact with the lower control arm at full lock, so aftermarket wheels are the better pairing.
