Rough Country 348.23 is a 5-inch lift kit for 2011–2013 Ram 2500 4WD and 2011–2012 Ram 3500 4WD. The kit ships with diesel-rate front coils, control arm drop brackets, a pitman arm, U-bolts, and an N3 shock kit. It does not fit dually models, and it does not fit Power Wagon models because of their electronic sway bar disconnects.
This 5-inch lift kit for the 2011–2013 Ram 2500 4WD and 2011–2012 Ram 3500 4WD works with factory 17-inch and 20-inch wheels, so a wheel change is not part of the job. Drop brackets reduce control arm angle and a track bar bracket keeps the front axle centered, holding factory steering geometry. Minor drilling is required. Trucks with a two-piece driveshaft and carrier bearing, as found on the Mega Cab, may show take-off vibration; shimming the carrier bearing down addresses it.
