Rough Country 34870 is a 5-inch lift kit for the 2011-2013 Ram 2500 4WD and 2011-2012 Ram 3500 4WD, built around diesel coils, control arm drop brackets, and two pairs of V2 monotube shocks. It clears factory 17-inch and 20-inch wheels. It does not fit dually models, and it does not fit Power Wagon models with electronic sway bar disconnects.
This 5-inch lift kit for the 2011-2013 Ram 2500 4WD and 2011-2012 Ram 3500 4WD ships as a complete package: diesel coils, a pitman arm, black U-bolts, a drop bracket box kit, and two V2 monotube shock pairs. The drop brackets pull the control arm angle back toward stock and the track bar bracket recenters the front axle, so factory steering geometry is preserved. Minor drilling is required. Mega Cab trucks with a two-piece driveshaft and carrier bearing may show take-off vibration, correctable by shimming the carrier bearing down. A downloadable installation guide is available.
