Rough Country 34940 is a 5-inch lift kit for the 2011-2013 Ram 2500 4WD and the 2011-2012 Ram 3500 4WD. The kit is built around two M1 monotube shock pairs, front coils, a drop bracket box kit, a pitman arm, and black U-bolts. It does not fit dually models, and it does not fit Power Wagon models with electronic sway bar disconnects.
This 5-inch lift kit for the 2011-2013 Ram 2500 4WD covers Tradesman through Laramie Longhorn trims, plus the 2011-2012 Ram 3500 4WD in ST, SLT, and Laramie form. Control arm drop brackets and a track bar bracket keep front geometry and axle centering close to stock, and the kit is designed around factory 17-inch and 20-inch wheels. Minor drilling is part of the job. Mega Cab trucks running a two-piece driveshaft and carrier bearing can show take-off vibration, which is addressed by shimming the carrier bearing down.
