Rough Country 646 is a 3.75-inch lift kit for the 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler 4WD SE, built as a two-part stack: a 2.5-inch suspension lift for 4-cylinder applications plus a 1.25-inch body lift. It does not fit 6-cylinder models, and it does not fit 2005-2006 trucks with the 6-speed manual transmission.
This 3.75-inch lift kit for the 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler 4WD combines two Rough Country kits in one box: the 2.5-inch 4-cylinder suspension lift and the 1.25-inch body lift, which uses fiberglass-reinforced nylon pucks and adds a quarter inch over a standard 1-inch body lift. Check the engine and transmission qualifiers first — 6-cylinder Wranglers are out, as are 2005-2006 6-speed manual models. Running larger-than-stock tires on factory wheels can bring the tire into the lower control arm at full lock, so aftermarket wheels are recommended. A downloadable installation guide is available.
