Fitment is conditional: the vehicle needs an NP231 transfer case, and 2.8L V-6 and diesel models are out.
Moving a 1984–2001 Cherokee or 1986–1992 Comanche over to long arms is a geometry change, not a bolt-on: X-Flex adjustable arms on Clevite OEM-style rubber bushings, high-clearance lowers, and a 0.25 inch heavy-duty crossmember to hang it all from. The flex joints run a 2.5 inch body on a 1.25 inch thread, stay greasable, and pivot up to 20 degrees at the top and 35 degrees at the bottom. Verify three things before ordering: an NP231 transfer case, an engine that is neither the 2.8L V-6 nor a diesel, and no Peugeot manual transmission on 87-89 trucks. Shipping weight: 108.0 lb.
