A long arm conversion for 1984–2001 Jeep Cherokee and 1986–1992 Comanche 4WD rigs running a 4.5-inch or 6-inch lift. X-Flex arms with 2.5 in flex joint bodies and Clevite rubber bushings let the front end articulate — upper joints swing up to 20 degrees, lowers up to 35. Fitment is limited to the NP242 transfer case; 2.8L V-6 and diesel engines are out, as are 87-89 Peugeot manual transmission models.

This kit swaps the short factory control arms for long arms on the 1984–2001 Cherokee and 1986–1992 Comanche, hanging them from a 0.25 in thick heavy-duty crossmember. Lower arms use a high-clearance profile, and the X-Flex ends combine Clevite rubber bushings with greasable flex joints on 1.25 in thread. Fit is narrow: 4.5-inch or 6-inch lift, NP242 transfer case only, no 2.8L V-6 or diesel, and no 87-89 Jeeps with Peugeot manual transmissions.
